Restaurant, hotel and banquet website design in Haryana: cost, must-have features and real examples (2026)
What a restaurant, cafe, dhaba, hotel, resort or banquet hall website should do, what it costs to build and run in 2026, how to take bookings and orders without paying commission, and the pages that actually fill tables and rooms, from an agency in Jind that has built hospitality websites across Haryana and India.
Short answer: A hospitality website in Haryana costs ₹9,999 – ₹25,000 for a restaurant, cafe or dhaba with a menu, timings, Google Maps and WhatsApp ordering; ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 for a hotel, guest house or banquet hall with room or hall pages, galleries, tariff and booking requests; ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 for a hotel or resort with a booking engine and online payment; and ₹75,000 – ₹2,50,000 for a restaurant with its own online ordering and delivery system. The pages that fill tables and rooms are the menu or tariff with prices, the location page with distances from the highway and station, and a WhatsApp button on every screen. Below: the page list, what to budget, the legal details to show, timelines, mistakes and real hospitality websites we have built.

What a hospitality website is actually for
A family driving from Delhi to Chandigarh searches “restaurant near Karnal highway” or “hotel in Kurukshetra”, opens Google Maps, taps the website and decides in under a minute whether to stop, call or book. A wedding party in Rohtak searches “banquet hall in Rohtak with capacity 500”. A hospitality website has three jobs, in this order: get the call, WhatsApp message or booking, answer the five questions every guest asks (what is on the menu or what rooms you have, what it costs, where exactly you are, when you are open, whether it looks clean and real), and bring repeat guests back directly instead of through an aggregator that charges commission. Everything else, from the chef’s story to the drone video, supports those three jobs or it is decoration.
Hospitality website cost in Haryana by business type (2026)
| Type of business | What is included | One-time build | Yearly running cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Restaurant, cafe, dhaba, cloud kitchen | 5–7 pages, menu with prices and veg/non-veg marks, timings, Google Maps with highway directions, gallery, WhatsApp ordering and tap-to-call, Hindi/English copy, Google Business Profile setup | ₹9,999 – ₹25,000 | ₹3,000 – ₹8,000 |
| Hotel, guest house, homestay, banquet hall | 8–15 pages, room or hall pages with tariff and capacity, amenities, galleries, booking or event enquiry form with dates, WhatsApp confirmation, reviews, nearby attractions or wedding packages | ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 | ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 |
| Hotel or resort with booking engine | All of the above plus real-time availability, online payment via Razorpay or PhonePe, booking confirmations, optional channel-manager sync with OTAs, package pages | ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 | ₹10,000 – ₹30,000 plus engine fees |
| Restaurant with own online ordering | WooCommerce ordering with menu categories, variants and add-ons, UPI, cards and cash on delivery, pickup or delivery slots, delivery radius by pincode, WhatsApp and kitchen alerts, coupons and loyalty | ₹75,000 – ₹2,50,000 | ₹15,000 – ₹50,000 |
Running cost covers hosting, domain and a care plan (updates, backups, menu and tariff changes). Online payments add a gateway fee of about 2% per transaction. GST at 18% is extra on agency fees unless stated. For a general comparison see the WordPress website cost guide; for ordering systems see the ecommerce website cost guide.

The pages and features that bring bookings and orders
From the hospitality sites we have built, these are the elements that correlate with calls, bookings and direct orders. Build them first; add the rest later.
- Menu or tariff with prices, on the page, not in a PDF. Guests on a phone will not download a file. A menu with prices, veg and non-veg marks and a few photos of signature dishes; a tariff with room types, occupancy and what breakfast includes. If rates vary by season, show “from” prices.
- WhatsApp and tap-to-call on every screen. A sticky bar on mobile with Call, WhatsApp and Directions. For restaurants, a pre-filled WhatsApp message (“I want to order” or “Table for 4 tonight”); for hotels, “Check availability for [dates]”.
- Location written for travellers. Google Maps embed plus distances and times from the things guests search for: the highway exit, the railway station, the bus stand, the nearest big landmark. “2 km from Karnal toll plaza on NH-44, right side towards Delhi” is what sells a stop.
- Timings and the current status. Opening hours by day, last order time, check-in and check-out times, and whether you are open on festivals. Keep this in sync with your Google Business Profile.
- Real photos and a 30-second video. Food on the table, rooms with the lights on, bathrooms, parking, the view from the highway. Stock photos of foreign hotels hurt trust; a phone video shot in daylight beats them.
- Booking or table request form with dates that reaches a human by WhatsApp within minutes. For banquets: date, guest count, event type and budget, so the follow-up call is useful.
- Google reviews pulled in and a visible rating, with a link to leave one. Hospitality is a reviews business.
- Banquet and event packages with capacity, per-plate price ranges and what is included (decor, DJ, parking) for halls and hotels; this is the highest-value enquiry on most Haryana hotel sites.
- Hindi versions of the menu, tariff and how-to-reach pages. See the Hindi question in the FAQ.
- Fast on a ₹8,000 Android on 4G with compressed images; hospitality sites are photo-heavy and often the slowest we audit.
Escaping aggregator and OTA commission
Food aggregators typically take 20 to 30% of each order and online travel agencies 15 to 25% of each room night, and both keep the customer’s details. The website’s second job is to move repeat customers to direct channels, which is where the commission saving pays for the site many times over.
- Restaurants: a WooCommerce ordering page with UPI, cards and cash on delivery, pickup and delivery slots, a delivery radius by pincode and order alerts on WhatsApp and a kitchen printer. Put a QR code on every table, bill and packaging that opens the ordering page with a first-order coupon. Keep the aggregators for discovery; move the regulars.
- Hotels: a visible tariff that beats the OTA rate by a little, a booking request or booking engine, and “book direct” perks such as free breakfast or late checkout. Sync availability with a channel manager if you sell on several OTAs, so you never double-book.
- Both: collect WhatsApp numbers at every booking and order, and send offers to them. A list of 2,000 past guests is worth more than any ad budget.
FSSAI, GST and policies to show
Where food is sold, display your FSSAI licence or registration number on the website and on invoices; FSSAI expects it on labels, menus and online listings. Show the GST number on invoices and in the footer. If you take online payments, Razorpay, PhonePe and other gateways require a delivery or service policy, a refund and cancellation policy, terms and a privacy policy before approving the account; we write these as part of the build. Hotels should display the registered business name and address, check-in rules (ID requirements, couple and local-ID policies if you have them) and cancellation terms. Keep allergen notes and veg or non-veg marking consistent with the printed menu, and never show a price online that the counter will not honour.

Timeline and what we need from you
A restaurant, cafe or small hotel website goes live in 2 to 3 weeks once we have the menu, tariff and photos. Hotels and banquet halls with booking requests and galleries take 4 to 6 weeks; a booking engine or online ordering build takes 6 to 10 weeks. Photos are the usual delay; budget a half-day shoot, or send us 30 daylight phone photos and we will select. To start, you provide:
- Logo, FSSAI and GST numbers, registered business name and address
- Menu with prices and veg/non-veg marks, or room and hall list with tariff, capacity and inclusions
- Timings, check-in and check-out, last order time, festival rules
- 30 to 60 real photos and, ideally, a one-minute phone video
- Where bookings and orders should go: phone numbers, WhatsApp, email, kitchen printer
- Delivery radius, slots and minimum order if you want online ordering
- One person who can approve content within 48 hours
Mistakes that waste a restaurant’s budget
- Menu as a PDF or an Instagram screenshot. Unreadable on a phone, invisible to Google. Put it on the page.
- Hiding prices. Guests assume expensive and move on. Show prices or “from” prices.
- Building online ordering before anyone orders directly. Start with WhatsApp ordering and a QR code; add the ordering system when you have 50 direct orders a week.
- Paying for a booking engine on a 12-room hotel that gets 3 bookings a day. A request form with WhatsApp confirmation does the job until you are on several OTAs.
- Stale timings and a closed-for-renovation banner from last year. Assign one staff member to keep timings, menu and tariff current on the site and on Google.
- Hosting, domain or the Google Business Profile in the agency’s name. Insist on everything in your name; see what to check before hiring a web designer in Haryana.
- Desktop-first design. More than 90% of hospitality visits are from phones, many of them in a moving car.
Turning the website into a bookings channel
A website on its own waits for traffic. Four low-cost additions make it a channel:
- Google Business Profile done properly. Correct category, menu or rooms added, photos monthly, hours accurate, posts for weekend specials, and the website and booking links pointing at the right pages. “Near me” searches land here first.
- Local SEO pages. “Banquet hall in Rohtak”, “family restaurant on Karnal highway”, “hotel near Kurukshetra Brahma Sarovar” as real pages written for how guests search, linked from the homepage. Our SEO and content service handles this for hospitality businesses in Haryana.
- Meta and Google ads for events and seasons. Meta ads to families within 25 km for weekend buffets and wedding-season banquet packages, Google Ads on “hotel in [town]” and “banquet hall in [town]” landing on the booking page. Budgets of ₹10,000 – ₹40,000 a month are typical.
- Reels and reviews. Short videos of food and rooms on Instagram, and a review request sent by WhatsApp after every visit; our social media management runs this for restaurants and hotels.

FAQ
How much does a restaurant or hotel website cost in Haryana?
₹9,999 – ₹25,000 for a restaurant, cafe or dhaba site with menu, timings, Google Maps and WhatsApp ordering; ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 for a hotel, guest house or banquet hall with room or hall pages, gallery, enquiry and booking requests; ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 for a hotel or resort with a booking engine and online payment; and ₹75,000 – ₹2,50,000 for a restaurant with its own online ordering and delivery system. Add ₹3,000 – ₹15,000 a year for hosting, domain and a care plan.
Can my restaurant take orders on its own website instead of Zomato or Swiggy?
Yes. A WooCommerce-based ordering page with UPI, cards and cash on delivery, WhatsApp order alerts and pickup or delivery slots costs ₹25,000 – ₹75,000 and charges no commission, only about 2% gateway fees on online payments. Most restaurants keep the aggregators for discovery and move repeat customers to the website with a QR code and WhatsApp.
Do I need a booking engine for my hotel website?
Not at first for a 10 to 30 room hotel in a district town; a booking request form with WhatsApp confirmation and a visible tariff converts well and costs nothing extra. Add a real-time booking engine with online payment and channel-manager sync when you sell through OTAs and need to avoid double bookings; that adds ₹20,000 – ₹60,000 plus the engine’s own fee.
How long does it take to build a hospitality website?
Two to three weeks for a restaurant, cafe or small hotel once menu, tariff and photos are ready, four to six weeks for a hotel or banquet site with booking requests and galleries, and six to ten weeks for a booking engine or online ordering build. Photos are the usual delay; a half-day shoot is worth budgeting.
What legal details should a restaurant website show?
Your FSSAI licence number where food is sold, GST number on invoices, and for online ordering the shipping or delivery, refund and privacy policies that payment gateways require. Hotels should show the registered business name, address and cancellation terms. Keep allergen and veg or non-veg marking consistent with your printed menu.
Should the website be in Hindi or English?
Both. English for travellers, corporate guests and Google, Hindi for the menu, tariff, how to reach and banquet pages that local guests read. In Haryana’s district towns and on the highways, Hindi menu and booking pages consistently bring more calls than English-only sites.
